Provocations.

Full of sensory ingredients, this provocation included lavendar coloured play dough, potpourri and fragrant tea leaves. Green foam leaves added some colour and texture, while scoops, spoons and play saucepans allowed busy hands to develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor and dexterity.

Artwork created from a provocation of mini pumpkins that were rolled and dropped in black and orange paint on the paper. Arm and shoulder muscles were exercised while the texture and characteristics of the pumpkis were observed. Language developed through describing the bumps on the pumpkins, the lines and shape, the stem, colour and slimy feeling of the paint.
